India and religion

We Indians , irrespective of which religion we belong to have always kept our religious sense ahead of our common sense.India as a country always had people who think with their hearts and not their minds.

And today what do we have dirty roads after the celebrations , roads blocks to put up the make shift shelter , loud music etc.Who's country is this ? And why and to whole do we have to prove a point ?

I'm an atheist and have no right to comment about any religion. But I have my right to ask people to keep our resources clean as these are used by others too , to maintain some civic sense and play music just loud enough to enjoy it.

All celebrations have to be a community activity than a religious activity. We need to lean on religion to make a better society rather than create disharmony.

The Shrink

Isn't it an irony that Kofi Annan had to open his mouth after this long a wait.Where was he during the Kargil?Where was he during the 9/11?Where was he during the US attack over Afghan to wipe out Bin Laden?Where was he during the US attack over Iraq to capture Saddam?Where was he during the Beslan School siege?

Its a pity that UN which started of a an apolitical organization has drooped down to such a level that we can do off with it.Kofi's comments come too late and are too little to make any impression on the real world.

Mr.Kofi Annan , it is not who against who , but how which is more important in the present world. The entire mankind would not think twice to say that what we need is peace and a struggle for any cause has to be peaceful.A handful of terroists are holding the world at ransom at gun point and a few diplomats with their "sensible" diplomacy.

We cannot hand our future generations a violent and hypocrite world. We need a few leaders better than Kofis and Bushes to lead this world into the next era.
